Welcome to the Beds Independent Pool League site. Please make sure you become a member and visit the forum to have your say or join in with the daily banter.
BIPL is a league setup and run by pool players with the pool players of Bedfordshire's interests at heart. This site aims to become a community for those players to discuss the great game and other topics which may be of interest.

New season - Winter 2011-2012
With the new season starting next week we have made some changes to the site. We are now using our league manager software to automatically update the webiste with results from all the matches. The old links you used to use have been replaced by a link to the league manager.
The league manager will show you the following:
Full venue listing for the league showing address and contact details for each venue.
Full fixtures list for all Divisions
Divisional Matrix tables showing a overview of all results
Division results on a week per week basis
Full match listing for the whole division with updated results
Divisional tables and individual player rankings
Weekly overview of all league matches
Match detail showing who played who and the result
All knockout competitions will also be posted and updated as they are made and drawn
We are quite excited to using this software and to be able to keep you all updated with results and as much other information as possible. There may be a few slight teething problems using this software so we kindly ask for your patience and help in finding any errors or ommisions. Any comments are also welcome.

End of Season
Hi all, well thats another season over with! Thank you all for participating in a very difficult season.
I have carefully checked all result card weeks to ensure I have not received the outstanding cards from the League, therefore, these cards will not be included towards the Final Tables for any reason.
Well done to all who have won awards.
The presentation night will be held at the Executive Club on Sat 16th April. Details will be in the post shortly. Even if you didn't manage to win anything, please come along and support those that did, or just come along for a drink before heading into town?!
If you have won an award but cannot make this date, please make arrangements for it to be collected on your behalf. Trophies not collected on the night may not be awarded and then returned to the supplier.

IMPORTANT: Missing Cards
Hi all, now the Summer League 2010 has finished I need to finalise the League standings. I sent a message with week 12 to all stating " Can all Captains be aware any missing result cards will not be valid after 13/9/10 No Exeptions!
Due to the high amount of cards not recieved and the potential that some of the cards missing WILL effect the league tables and player rankings and Captains cup, I have extended the deadline to this Friday 17th.
ALL cards not recieved by me by this date WILL NOT be included in the final standings.
It IS NOT the job of myself OR any committee member to chase Captains for ANY missing result cards, it is the responsibility of the Captain of the winning team to post or deliver the result card to the appropriate place. In this case, my address on the reverse of the card or the Exec Club, NO WHERE ELSE.
Attached is a list of all missing result cards, if you are the Captain of any of the teams that lost and are concerned about Player rankings/Captains cup, I strongly suggest you contact the Captain of the winning team to get a replacement card or send me one yourself with infomation from your Captains log book.

New season starts soon!
The summer 2010 season is nearly upon us and already its shaping up to be a great season. A copy of the league newsletter can be seen Here.
Please note we have introduced another slight rule change which can be found Here. We would like to request everyone's patience with this change as it may take a while for all teams to learn it. Please ensure all your players are aware of the changes and if you have any comments or questions please post on the forums in the relevant section which can be found Here.
Presentation Night is on Saturday 1st May starting at 18:30. Everyone is invited to attend and show support for all the winners.
Lastly we hope you all have a great season and good luck.

League updates and more
League tables have been updated for week 7. Team knockout and consolation cup draws have been done and EPA singles round 2.
Please also note that a error has been rectified on the fixtures list, The Munjac is actually team 6 and not The Crown in division 5. Some teams may have got confused if looking at the site. Please also note the following is the address of The Munjac should any team not know here to find them:
